Engage Estero and the East Corkscrew Alliance hosted a joint community meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6 pm at the Estero Fire Rescue Station 45.

Featured Speakers included:

• Allan Bowditch, Engage Estero’s President: key findings from the recent survey conducted among East Corkscrew Residents that determined their needs and requirements for your growing community.
• Nick Cameratta, Founder and COO of The Cameratta Group of Companies: K-12 Charter school coming to Kingston
• True North Classical Academy: K-12, 3100 student charter school in the Kingston development.
• Dr. Denise Carlin, Superintendent of Lee County, Florida Schools: school choice and options your child will have with the various schools available in the East Corkscrew zone. 
• Mark Novitski, Consultant to Engage Estero and Chair of the East Corkscrew Alliance: changes and improvements that have or will soon take place along East Corkscrew.

Engage Estero is a non-profit community engagement association working to inform, engage, and impact the greater Estero area. The East Corkscrew Alliance is a community organization aimed at representing and sharing important information about the quickly developing area along the eastern portion of Corkscrew Road.
