Bill Rhodes retired from Becton Dickinson and Company (NYSE: BDX) in 2012 as Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Strategy. He also served as Worldwide President of BD Biosciences, a $1.4 billion business segment.

He currently serves as Chairman of UK-based GENinCode plc (LSE: GENI), a leader in polygenic genetic testing for cardiovascular disease risk, and Nodexus Inc., a venture-backed life sciences company specializing in single-cell sorting. He is also a director of OncoDNA, a European cancer diagnostics company, and Endosound Inc., a medical technology company developing a universal endoscopic ultrasound platform.

Previously, Mr. Rhodes chaired or served on the boards of numerous public and private life sciences companies, including Curetis, OpGen, Omega Diagnostics, CytoSMART, Andor Technologies, and Paramit Corporation, contributing to several successful mergers and acquisitions.

He is Senior Executive in Residence at Cornell University's Center for Life Sciences, where he mentors emerging life sciences companies, and serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Health Economics and Public Policy at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Mr. Rhodes earned an M.S. in International Business from Seton Hall University and a B.S. in Entomology from Cornell University. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall and San Jose State University and is the inventor on 13 U.S. patents for novel topical ectoparasitic drugs.
