The Pandion Club (formerly Old Corkscrew Golf Club)

Corkscrew Road east of 75, before Verdana Village

FKA Old Corkscrew Golf Club

The latest on the development by the Hoffmann Family of Companies on east Corkscrew Road is the transition of the former Old Corkscrew Golf Club into a highly exclusive, private oasis renamed the Pandion Club. Pandion is based on the scientific name for the osprey, Pandion haliaetus.

Construction Status & Timeline

The active golf course construction officially began in mid-July 2026. Glase Golf is handling the physical earthmoving and construction. The club is on schedule to welcome its first members in late 2027.

The Hoffmanns are completely reshaping the property at 17320 Corkscrew Road; moving away from its original public, Jack Nicklaus-designed roots toward an elite, walkable experience. Acclaimed architect Kyle Phillips was hired to completely reconfigure the layout into a par-71, 7,220-yard, heathland-inspired course. It leverages Florida's natural sandy terrain and inland dunes to emphasize a traditional, walking-focused game. Unlike most Southwest Florida golf communities, Pandion Club is a golf-only facility with no residential developments or homes lining the fairways.

Memberships are strictly private and capped at just 280 members.

Clubhouse and Amenities: Designed by MHK Architecture, plans feature a Lowcountry-style clubhouse, expansive practice facilities, and premium member dining.

The course is planned to open in the latter half of 2027.
