Corner of Corkscrew Road and Sandy Lane
Summercrest, formerly known as Estero Townhomes and associated with the former Colonnade property, is a new Toll Brothers townhome community planned for approximately 21.4 acres at the northeast corner of Corkscrew Road and Sandy Lane in Estero. In October 2024, the Village Council approved rezoning to Estero Planned Development, allowing up to 154 two-story townhomes with a maximum height of 35 feet. The subsequent development order process resulted in a plan for 153 townhomes, along with the associated utilities, infrastructure, recreational amenities, and public-use areas.
The planned community will be gated and feature two-story townhomes ranging from approximately 1,944 to 2,495 square feet. Toll Brothers currently describes three-bedroom homes with 2-3 baths, covered lanais, lofts and optional flex rooms or offices. Prices are expected to begin in the mid-$500,000s. Plans include a clubhouse/amenity center, swimming pool, spa, fitness center and social room. The site plan also provides for a pocket park and lake features, enhanced landscaping and buffering along the northern property line and a landscaped six-foot wall along Corkscrew Road. There will be two gated entrances: one from Sandy Lane and another from Design Parc Lane to the east. The plans also include a 10-foot sidewalk along Sandy Lane and a meandering sidewalk, six to eight feet wide, along Corkscrew Road. Construction is well advanced, with some of the two-story homes already completed. The project is likely to be completed within the next six to nine months, weather permitting.
