South of Corkscrew Road, west of Six L's Farm Road
The Florida Farms Development (FFD) property encompasses approximately 5,208 acres on the south side of Corkscrew Road, east of Corkscrew Shores and west of Six L's Farm Road. The property remains one of the largest undeveloped tracts along the rapidly growing East Corkscrew corridor.
GL Homes previously pursued the property under an option agreement, but that option lapsed. As a result, GL Homes is no longer the developer for the proposed project. At present, there does not appear to be a publicly identified new developer for the entire 5,208-acre tract. The absence of a current developer does not diminish the property's long-term development potential. Its enormous size and location within the East Corkscrew growth corridor make it a significant future development opportunity, particularly as surrounding residential communities continue to expand.
