The 12th Annual Breaking Par at Grandezza charity event was held April 13th and 14th, 2024. It started with a Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament at 8:30 am on Saturday April 13th. The Gala Dinner with a Hollywood theme was held Sunday April 14th.

Featured guest of honor was Estero’s first Mayor Nick Batos. Nick has made many significant contributions to this community; among them are: having served as Chairman of the ECCL and leading the successful drive to get the incorporation of Estero on the November 2014 ballot. He went on to serve two terms as District 6 Councilmember acting as liaison to the Lee School District and Lee Health, with areas of strategic concern being the SUN Trails, CSX railroad, and Bike/Pedestrian Pathways. Nick and his wife, Linda, reside in Shadow Wood at The Brooks.
