South of Corkscrew Road, east of Via Coconut Point
Plans are underway to reconfigure the entrance to the Estero Park along Corkscrew Road. This reconfiguration is part of a broader effort to improve access and functionality for the park and future sports and recreation facilities. The proposed new main entrance is on Via Coconut Point, providing a more direct and structured access route than the existing configuration. It is part of a larger "Village Hub" vision.
The entrance reconfiguration is part of a broader master plan to establish the Estero Village Sports & Recreational Area, a sports and recreation hub. This hub will integrate the Estero Community Park with new sports fields, entertainment amenities, connections to trails such as the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT) and other public spaces.
