Estero High School Students Recognized at Senior Awards Night

Congratulations to 108 Estero High School Seniors. They were recognized at the annual Senior Awards night held at the High School Auditorium on Wednesday May 7th, 2025.

There were 15 Community Organizations that presented Scholarship Awards to 45 students totaling $115,000. In addition there were $240,000 in military scholarships awarded.

Students were also recognized for their participation in the Cambridge/AICE program, by the National Honor Society and by many other academic and student organizations at the school. Just to name a few it included HOSA, Key Club, JROTC, National Art Honor Society, Photography Club and Marching Band.

Student Athletes were recognized as well as sports clubs representing Pickleball and Table Tennis.

LEAD Estero, a student organization, presented $30,000 in Scholarships ranging in size from $10,000 to $2,500 including two Trade School Scholarships. LEAD Estero produced the Breaking Par for Education event at Grandezza earlier this year netting approximately $80,000 for Education initiatives including the above $30,000 in Scholarships with the support of Engage Estero.

EHS 2025 Awards Essay Winners

Essay Contest Scholarship Winners each received a $1000 Scholarship. Pictured left to right:  Shiv Kalvadia for Business Essay from the Estero Chamber Of Commerce; Chase O’Dea for Governance Essay from Engage Estero and Natalie Gonzalez Cabera for History Essay from the Estero Historical Society. There were 18 essays submitted for this year’s High School scholarships.

Three Oaks Elementary and Pinewoods Elementary Schools also participated in this year’s Estero Essay Contest.   While not present at the High School Awards night, recipients received awards at their schools ranging from $200 for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third place. Honorable Mention Certificates where given to other students who submitted essays.
