Corkscrew Road opposite Verdana Village
Corkscrew 80 is a proposed/planned residential development on East Corkscrew Road, opposite the Verdana community in the Estero area. The proposal calls for approximately 85 single-family homes on the site. This will add to the continuing concentration of residential development along the Corkscrew Road corridor, where substantial growth is already occurring. While smaller than some of the major master-planned communities along Corkscrew Road, this development's position, directly opposite Verdana, makes it particularly significant when evaluating the cumulative effects of growth on East Corkscrew Road, including traffic, roadway capacity, drainage, schools and other infrastructure.
