The ECCL is a non-partisan, all-volunteer civic advocacy organization working at a grassroots level to serve as the “Voice of the People” and to advocate for positive change.
Our purpose is to inform, educate, and enable residents to act to maintain and improve the quality of life in Estero and surrounding communities. Our effectiveness is a direct result of listening to members and other stakeholders, creating compelling communications, making beneficial connections and advocating for meaningful change.
What we’re doing…
Month by month, the experienced volunteers of the ECCL anticipate and inform the community of threats before they happen, when action can still be taken. We are active in promoting economic literacy in schools, protecting our water and natural resources, healthcare availability, transportation planning, and responsible development.
