Established in 2000, the Estero Council of Community Leaders (ECCL) is a non-partisan all-volunteer civic advocacy organization. Our purpose is to inform, educate, and enable residents to act to support and improve the quality of life in Estero and surrounding communities. One of our primary focus areas is to support and advocate for the highest level of environmental quality.
We are seeking a Chairperson for our Environmental Council (EC). Collaborating with other environmental advocacy organizations, area businesses, community leaders, and Members, the Chairperson will provide counsel and insights to ECCL leadership decision making related to supporting and keeping a safe and clean environment for current and future generations.
The individual we seek is likely, but not necessarily, retired, has excellent collaborating skills, and is passionate in advocating for positive environmental change. Working together with the Village of Estero and surrounding community leaders and state and national conservation organizations, the Chairperson will connect with individuals, groups, and organizations advocating for a safer and cleaner environment.
