Low Hanging Limbs Damage Fire Equipment
Low hanging tree limbs along access roads cause preventable damage to the community’s fire equipment. Not only does this waste community funds on repairs, it could possibly cause delay and unnecessary difficulty for firefighters responding to emergencies in your own neighborhood.

Clearance Required by Law
The Florida Fire Prevention Code NFPA 1 Ch 18 requires a minimum vertical clearance of 13 feet 6 inches for all access roads.
Rainy season is coming, and in the wake of hurricane Ian, a lot of our trees will be growing quickly. If you see a tree in your community that could be an impediment to fire equipment, notify your property manager or the owner of the tree.
