Village of Estero Council Meeting

November 5 @ 9:30 am - 9:30 pm EST

The Village of Estero Council will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Wednesday, November 5.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.

Among the items on the agenda:

  • A motion to approve purchasing a state freshwater herbaceous mitigation credit worth $16,800. This is meant to offset the impact of a wetlands area where a small roundabout will be built as part of the intersection improvement project at Williams Road and Atlantic Gulf Boulevard.
  • First reading of a motion, based off a recent state law adoption, to create guidelines for residential recovery centers within the Village of Estero.

Council members will also convene for workshops on property fraud, legislative updates, flood vulnerability assessment, and the Village’s eco-historic study.

Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
