Village of Estero Council Meeting

The Village of Estero Council will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Wednesday, June 18.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.

Among the items on the agenda:

  • A motion to approve a $347,000 contract with Chris Tel Construction for construction manager-at-risk services for the River Oaks Preserve Project, a proposed 10-acre preserve area at the east end of Broadway Ave. E the Village purchased in 2022 for $1.2 million. Proposed improvements to the area include a storage building, trails, pedestrian bridge, and utilities.
  • A review of the comprehensive financial report for the previous fiscal year.
  • Adoption of the FY 2025-2026 capital improvement program, which allocates $57.5 million for roadway, intersection, bike and pedestrian, landscaping, parks and recreation, stormwater and utility projects.
  • Awarding a one-year contract to Rostan Solutions for as-needed disaster debris monitoring services.

Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
