The Village of Estero Planning, Zoning and Design Board will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Tuesday, March 10.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.

Items for discussion on the agenda include:

• A workshop to discuss the proposed demolition of the old Regal Theaters at Coconut Point to allow for building of a 365-unit apartment building and parking garage. The applicant requested the workshop to discuss proposed changes to their plan.
• Proposed paint color changes to the Walmart store at US 41 and Estero Parkway.
• A proposed additional two-story storage facility to be built at the site of an existing storage company at 8900 Commons Way.
• An update from Land Design Inc. on the ongoing eco-historic study being conducted for the Village of Estero.

Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
