The Village of Estero Planning, Zoning and Design Board will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Tuesday, August 12.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.

Items for discussion on the agenda include:

• An application by Curadel Pharma, which develops products for cancer treatment and imaging, to build a 43,000-square-foot medical office on a vacant 3.5-acre lot at 9600 Corkscrew Road at River Ranch Road.
• An application by Shadow Wood Country Club to build a 34,000-square-foot lifestyle center including indoor pickleball courts, a restaurant, and a pro shop. The project would also relocate outdoor tennis courts and include a new pool.

Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
