Estero Recreation Center: A Hub for Fitness, Fun & Connection
The Estero Park & Recreation Center is more than just a gym — it’s a gathering place where residents of all ages come together for fitness, programs, and community events. Located on Corkscrew Palms Boulevard, the regional park offers 40,000 square feet of indoor space surrounded by the one of the largest parks in Lee County. (Lakes Regional Park is the biggest.)
Inside, members enjoy a full gymnasium, fitness center, multi-purpose classrooms, and game room. Outside, families and friends gather at the amphitheater, dog park, bocce and volleyball courts, playgrounds, and walking paths.
Pickleball at the Center
Pickleball is booming in Estero, and the Rec Center is right in the middle of it. With indoor courts, players can drop in for open play or start with Pickleball 101, a beginner’s clinic that helps newcomers learn the game. Competitive tournaments and casual social play make the courts one of the liveliest places in town.
Programs for Seniors
The Rec Center also shines as a hub for active older adults, offering senior-friendly fitness classes and low-impact aerobics. Social programs — from card games to crafts — provide opportunities to connect, while special events like holiday events and the keep the calendar full.
Events & What’s Ahead
- Pickleball 101 returns this September.
- Spooktacular — Estero’s Trunk-or-Treat with food trucks and an outdoor movie — is set for Oct. 18, 2025.
- Seasonal concerts and movie nights round out the fall programming.
The Village is also investing in the future. Work is underway on the Estero Sports Park and High 5 Entertainment Campus, set to open in November 2026, which will expand recreation and entertainment options around the Rec Center.
