Engaging the Future of Estero
Engage Estero is proud to announce a new partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU)!
Our very own Terry Flanagan recently spoke to a freshman class at FGCU to inspire the next generation of community leaders.
This partnership is all about inspiring the next generation to get involved, speak up, and make a difference in the place they call home. We’re excited to support student voices and grow a stronger connection between the university and the Estero community.
Flanagan offered the students a unique opportunity:
🔹 Write about an issue you care about – whether it’s the environment, housing, education, traffic, or anything impacting our community.
🔹 Get your voice heard – published online and read by thousands.
🔹 Earn service-learning credits while making a difference right here in Estero.
As Terry said: “If you don’t care about your community, who will?”
We believe the next generation has powerful stories and ideas to share – and we’re here to amplify them.
Know an FGCU student? Encourage them to get involved by emailing info@esterotoday.com
We can’t wait to share the issues these futures leaders highlight!
