The Estero Council of Community Leaders (ECCL) is extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Pierce to the ECCL Board of Directors.
Rachel Pierce is proud to call Estero home with her husband and four young children. She specifically picked Estero for its great schools, city planning, and good leadership. Rachel is transitioning from her 19-year TV journalist career to pursue her growing art business. She said her final farewell as the NBC2 morning tv anchor at the end of June. No more 2 am wake up calls, and it allows her to pursue her artistic passion and be home with her children. Rachel is thrilled to join the ECCL board. She, too, wants to keep Estero on the path of a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
ECCL Board Chairperson Joe Pavich Sr. said, “Rachel will be a tremendous asset to the ECCL. Her love of community, experience, and skills will bring a fresh perspective to Board deliberations. We are very pleased that she chose the ECCL to continue her civic interests, and we look forward to her perspectives and contributions as a member of our team.”
