Adopt A Highway Totals for December 2025
What an incredible month of teamwork and community spirit! Together, Julie Yellig’s Adopt a Highway volunteers collected 380 pounds of litter—bringing their total since the end of last season to an impressive 1,660 pounds. That’s a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we all pitch in.
This month’s volunteers came from across our neighborhoods—Rapallo, Pelican Sound, RiverCreek, Bella Terra, Copperleaf, Grandezza, The Vines, Riverwoods, Stoneybrook, and Belle Lago. It’s inspiring to see so many communities joining hands to keep Estero beautiful.
A special shout-out to Marathon/Dos Amigos Authentic Mexican Grill, who continue to provide water and ice for our crews generously. Their support keeps the team refreshed and energized out in the field.
We’re also deeply grateful to everyone who participates in Adopt-a-Road programs or picks up litter during their daily walks. And let’s not forget our local businesses, who take pride in keeping their surroundings clean and welcoming—you are true partners in this mission.
Thanks to each and every one of you, we’re building not just a cleaner Estero, but a healthier, more vibrant environment for all. Your dedication is the heartbeat of our vision.
