Planning, Zoning & Design Board Meeting

The Village of Estero Planning, Zoning and Design Board will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Tuesday, May 13.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.

Items for discussion on the agenda include:

  • A proposal to rezone a 7.5-acre lot at 8790 Broadway East from agriculture to residential to allow for a proposed residential development.
  • A public hearing regarding a proposed Discount Tire store to be built in Corkscrew Commons between Rib City and Mr. Tequila.
  • A proposal to update the Pelican Sound master plan to allow for permanent mooring of 2 shuttle boats at the community’s River Club.

Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
