Village of Estero Council Meeting

The Village of Estero Council will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Wednesday, May 21.
These meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth, development, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions, concerns, and comments on these topics.
Among the items on the agenda:
- Review and approval of the final plans for the Shadow Wood Country Club’s proposed lifestyle center in the Shadow Wood at The Brooks community.
- Approval of using a $300,000 Department of Transportation grant for design work for Broadway Avenue West.
- Approval of amendments to the agreement between the Village and High 5 Up Top, a company building the Entertainment District of the Village Center Hub.
- A first reading of a zoning change that would rezone a 2.37-acre property in the Coconut Point shopping center to allow for construction of a Home2Suites hotel.
Residents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card. E-comment forms are also available before meetings and must be returned by noon the day before the meeting.
