Jim Gilmartin, President of Engage Estero, (fourth from the left) was proud to represent the organization on April 15 at the Estero Historical Society cottage ribbon cutting for the deck replacement. Engage Estero donated $3,000 and executed a fund-raising effort that garnered over $20,000 to replace the damaged disability access ramp. EHS Board President Gail Langner stated the project would not have been possible without the monies donated by residents through Engage Estero’s campaign. The One-Room Schoolhouse and Historic Cottage Museum are located on the grounds of the Estero Park and Recreation Center.
