DESCRIPTION:The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on June 16\, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.\, at the Lee County Administration East Building located at 2201 Second Street in Room 118\, to consider several agenda items. The public hearing items that the Board will consider include the following: \n• Amending the MPO’s FY 2022/2023 through FY 2026/2027 Transportation Improvement\nProgram (TIP) to add a safety project that includes adding rumble strips on various non curb and\ngutter roadway segments with speed limits of 50mph or over. The TIP amendment page and\nproject information can be viewed at the following link:  TIP Amendment \n• Adoption of the FY 2023/2024 to FY 2027/2028 Transportation Improvement Program that\nincludes the federal and state funded transportation improvements in Lee County that are\nplanned to be undertaken over the next five years.
