DESCRIPTION:The Village of Estero Planning\, Zoning and Design Board will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Tuesday\, June 10. \nThese meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth\, development\, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions\, concerns\, and comments on these topics. \nItems for discussion on the agenda include: \n\nAn application to demolish the former Perkins restaurant building in the Grand Oaks Shoppes at Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and Corkscrew Road to build a Chick-fil-A drive-thru.\nA public hearing to discuss an alcoholic beverage license requested by Piccolo Buco\, a new Cooper’s Hawk-owned Italian restaurant moving into Coconut Point.\nAn update to the village’s flood plain regulations to include a non-conversion agreement for elevated homes. These updates are required as part of a corrective action plan required by FEMA.\n\nResidents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card.
