DESCRIPTION:The Village of Estero Council will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Wednesday\, May 21. \nThese meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth\, development\, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions\, concerns\, and comments on these topics. \nAmong the items on the agenda: \n\nReview and approval of the final plans for the Shadow Wood Country Club’s proposed lifestyle center in the Shadow Wood at The Brooks community.\nApproval of using a $300\,000 Department of Transportation grant for design work for Broadway Avenue West.\nApproval of amendments to the agreement between the Village and High 5 Up Top\, a company building the Entertainment District of the Village Center Hub.\nA first reading of a zoning change that would rezone a 2.37-acre property in the Coconut Point shopping center to allow for construction of a Home2Suites hotel.\n\nResidents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card.
