SUMMARY:Village of Estero Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Village of Estero Council will discuss several important matters at its next meeting on Wednesday\, May 7. \nThese meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about growth\, development\, and zoning changes within Estero and to voice questions\, concerns\, and comments on these topics. \nAmong the items on the agenda: \n\nA $430\,000 contract with LandDesign\, Inc. to complete an eco-historic planning study\, which will result in a comprehensive report detailing the opportunities and constraints of the Village’s environment and economic landscapes. Payment for this contract will come partially from the 2024-2025 fiscal year budget and partially from the 5-year capital improvement budget.\nReview of an annual contract with P&T Lawn & Tractor for landscaping\, mowing and irrigation services for the Village’s roadways\, not to exceed approximately $2.9 million annually.\nAmending the estimated cost for Wright Construction’s work on the Village entertainment complex. This update was needed after the Village acquired a second\, adjacent parcel for the complex\, requiring additional installation of utilities and infrastructure. Additionally\, this amendment to the original Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) would include construction costs and a binding construction schedule.\n\nResidents who wish to comment during the meeting should complete a Public Comment Card.
