The next meeting of the Estero Economic Excellence Outreach Committee will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at FGCU Emerging Technologies Institute. New FGCU President Dr. Mike Martin will be our keynote speaker, discussing his vision for FGCU, its engagement with and impact on Estero.

Take I-75 to Alico Rd (R 8140) Exit 128
Go East 2 miles on Alico (from intersection at Ben Hill Griffin)
– Go past Airport Haul Road and make a left at the next street, Innovation Lane (which may not have a sign)
– Go down 500 ft. and you will see a large white building on your right


Our Council is Mobilizing for:

  • Entrepreneurship Support – Florida Gulf Coast University needs you to mentor aspiring entrepreneurial students in their rapidly expanding Entrepreneurial Institute programs.
  • Elementary and Secondary Student Support
    • Lee County school system needs you to talk to students about your careers a way to open their eyes to the kind of opportunities they might aspire to pursue
    • Junior Achievement needs you to expand their career orientation classes in Lee County schools
  • Village Center Vision Development and Implementation – The Village of Estero needs you to help them implement their vision for the development of both the civic and cultural part of the Village Center around Corkscrew Road and US 41 and the healthcare part of the Village Center centered around the intersection of Coconut Road and US 41
