The Estero Council of Community Leaders (ECCL) is pleased to invite you to celebrate the launch of Engage Estero. The purpose of the all-volunteer, nonpolitical, nonprofit Community Engagement Association is to inform citizens of significant community issues and encourage citizen engagement to impact the quality of life in greater Estero favorably. The new name, logo, and purpose statement represent a revitalization of the ECCL organization’s unwavering dedication to a vision to have an informed and engaged citizenry, resulting in a community that delivers the desired quality of life.

Engage Estero will build on the ECCL’s 20 years of positive community impacts while focusing on issues essential to citizens and the region’s future. Jim Gilmartin, the president of Engage Estero, said, “No other organization in greater Estero focuses on engaging our community to maintain and improve our quality of life.”

At the launch meeting, Jim will explain why we made the change and how our purpose, mission, and vision will favorably impact greater Estero. There will be time for questions, discussion, and interaction.
