About the ECCL

The ECCL is a non-partisan all-volunteer civic advocacy organization. Our purpose is to inform, educate, and enable residents to act to maintain and improve the quality of life in Estero and surrounding communities. Our effectiveness is a direct result of listening to members and other stakeholders, creating compelling communications, making beneficial connections and advocating for meaningful change.

The ECCL’s mission is to help the Estero area to be informed and involved in Village, County, Regional and State issues that impact the community.

Because there is strength in numbers, and no Sunshine Law restrictions, the ECCL is able to openly address and affect the outcome of both challenges and opportunities facing the community, some of which are outside of the Village Council’s purview.

The ECCL also informs and garners support from the over 11,000 residents who have requested to be part of the ECCL’s email communications.

The ECCL has been serving the 30,000+ residents of Estero as a voluntary, “grass roots” community organization since 2002.
