Incorporation Referendum

vote-aniThe issue of Estero incorporation has been debated for several years. In June 2013, the Bonita Springs City Council initiated annexation efforts of properties in our community. Because of this, the ECCL has thoroughly reviewed the reasons for incorporation of Estero.

The ECCL has determined that, due to the unique character of the Estero Community, it is now time for the residents of Estero to consider incorporation.

This is not an easy task since Estero has a higher share of “snowbirds” than any other Lee County community and most of them are elsewhere in August.
