On November 4, 2014, a vast majority of Estero residents voted to incorporate as the Village of Estero. The following information is designed to keep residents informed about the process.
Key Dates in the Village of Estero Election
December 31, 2014: Village of Estero is created and established
January 12–16, 2015 noon: Candidate Qualifying Dates
January 31, 2015: 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Village Council Candidate Forum, Living Waters Church, 22100 S. Tamiami Trail
February 2, 2015: Deadline to register to vote in the Village of Estero election held March 3.
February 2-7, 2015: Ballot by Mail forms will be mailed to registered voters. Ballots will not be forwarded.
February 3, 2015: 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Village Council Candidate Forum, Living Waters Church, 22100 S. Tamiami Trail
February 25-28, 2015: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Early Voting for Village of Estero Council Candidates, Estero Recreation Center, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd.
March 3, 2015: Election of Estero Village Council members
March 17, 2015: First Village of Estero Council meeting

The new Village of Estero Council has a transition website where all updated information will be posted, at least on an interim basis, regarding the Council’s meetings and workshops. That website is www.VillageofEsteroFL.org. You will find the agendas there for the upcoming meetings.
Once the Council members’ official phones have been purchased and email accounts activated, these will be posted on the Village website under Council.
