How to Help

Many Ways to Take Part

The Estero Council of Community Leaders is a grassroots organization of volunteers who each provide unique experience, talent, and abilities to the group effort. The organization has various committees and departments, and there are opportunities for everyone to be involved.

The ECCL hosts monthly meetings for the entire community – a forum for residents and communities to share problems and solutions. In addition, the ECCL informs residents of important public workshops, council meetings, review and planning board meetings, and county hearings that impact our area. We cannot over-emphasize the impact personal attendance has on decision-makers.

Every board member and committee chair in the ECCL is a volunteer. The ECCL is divided into departments, so residents can be active in the areas in which they have the greatest interest and experience. We have committees focusing on education, environmental issues, transportation, health, marketing, membership, and more. We need individuals to step up and make a difference. Volunteer.

Take Action

Participation in Action Alerts, important meetings, ECCL meetings and community events shows decision-makers what a community values. The ECCL prides itself on activating the community by informing residents at crucial points. We send Action Alerts via email to mobilize the area and inform the appropriate people of how the community feels. Subscribe to our email list, or follow our Facebook page, to be notified.

Help us help Estero

The ECCL is made up entirely of volunteers.
While our communities pay nominal dues to offset expenses, there is always a greater demand than supply.
Your donation can protect the voice of residents in Estero, help steer the future of quality of life, and prevent problems before they happen.
