Join us at our Cottage as we embark on a new 4-part Lecture Series, called “Preserving our Past” with guest speaker, Ellen Biella-Saggau, Naturalist.  These lectures will be on a Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m.  Seating is limited for this series, so please call the Cottage to make your reservations as soon as possible, 239-272-1911.  You are welcome to attend as many lectures as you would like.

The Estero Historical Society Invites you to a special celebration of Valentine’s Day In honor of all the Women who contributed to the establishment of greater ESTERO in SW FLORIDA.  Come have tea with *Deaconess HARRIET BEDELL,  1st Missionary to the Miccosukee & Seminole tribes and **TOMMIE BARFIELD,  1st Superintendent of Collier County Schools, originally Lee County.

Join us along with Fine Mark Bank as a glorious collection of WW1  recruitment posters, including posters for Nurses, will be on display.  We will be able to give recognition of the centennial of the US participation in WW1. On February 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. will have a special reception at Fine Mark Bank and meet the owner of this amazing collection, Charles Dauray.  The display will be available to view from February 16-23, 2017 during banking hours.
